Begone...Wind Demon!!!

Kaze is Japanese for a Cold, and literally in Chinese Kanji, Kaze means "Wind Demon".

I've been sick for about a month now, sneezing, congested, body pains. Absolutly agonizing! Altho, somebody told me that my eyes are gleaming when I'm sick, but let me tell ya, the eyes are actually illuminated by viruses which attack my nasal area mercilessly, hence creating the runny nose, cough and watery eyes.

Plus, I don't think I would ever go to see a doctor in China, coz I don't really feel like having an IV put into me coz of a measly cold.

Anyway..time to do some exorcism... "Begone..wind demon... begone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Miho: Sometimes, I don't even kno what I'm saying and I get lost in my own thoughts. So i'm in no position to explain my last post..LOLS. Another party at your place sounds good actually, it would be fun. Oh..and btw..stop starting every MSN conversation with "That fucking italian guy" or "Can I kill him"..just find u're inner tranquility or something..

Self-induced vertigo

Last night I was watching the "Stephanie Suen" conert on DVD and I came across my favourite song. I remember I obsessed about that song like 3 years ago, like kept listening to it again and again.

It's such a depressing song, I would totally like feel down and depressed everytime I listen to it. Knowingly so, I kept repeating the song this morning. Hrmm .. I guess sometimes its good to get depressed on purpose so you would remind yourself of how it feels like so that you won't want to feel like that again? Okay..I feel like I'm Woody Allen here.. Does anyone follow??

The Song

Wren: I can't help it that I'm popular worldwide and *Slap*. No one talks shit about my Onitsuka Tigers..NO ONE! LOLS..
LB: I'll spell things the way I want to ...mmmm kay? I can even spell u're name backwards if I wanted to.. BL... there..see..

From Ueno back to Xui Jia Hui

The journey ended as abruptly as it started....This time was my 6th time travelling to Tokyo, maybe this time I was so rushed during the process, I didn't really feel the excitment of travelling to a new place. Rather, when I arrived and roamed about the streets, I felt a sense of returning and belonging rather then venturing into something new. Nonetheless, it was a blast....

Friday - I arrived and met Miho in Roppongi Hills, then she took me to her office (which infact is totally not what I would expect as it was such a casual enviroment). I had a cup of coffee then walked to Omesanto Hills for shopping, walking and walking... I went to Laforet (one of my fave shopping places in Harajuku) Altho Miho offered to teach me how to return to her office thru JR, I thought maybe I'll just walk back. And boy, how I regretted that. Not only, did I realized it was like a 40mins walk but also I passed by a cemetery during nite..Scarry..anyway we then met up Naoko, Meg chan and Roku for dinner at a restaurant called Sin and it was delicous. We drank and we chatted..and at some point they were talkin in Japanese..whereby I answered them..lols..they were pretty suprised how I could understand them a bit now. After that, we took a TAXI home, and I feel sooooooo rich, coz a taxi in Japan is prolly 1000000000 times more expensive then in Sha. When I arrived to Miho's home, I was pretty suprised how "Japanesie" it was. I felt like "Ding Dong"(I will only call it by that name and not Doreamon) will slip out of her wardrobes. Then we moved the furniture about so that I would have a place to sleep..and while we were moving the sofa..I noticed something on the floor..I will not say what..but Miho..I think you should be more tidy.

Saturday - Woke up late and went to Dakayama for shopping, I went to my greatest love "Onitsuka Tiger" store, I wanted to buy like 3 pairs but I refrained myself. I realized I'm pretty content just admiring them and gasping, maybe I'll just wait a bit till I'm more financially stable. I think i browsed all the shoes twice carefully examining them, I was there for at least 40 mins. Anyway after that, I went to have dinner with Miho's frds, Kame san, 直也(I can't seem to memorize his name in Japanese but in Kanji), Kentaro and Tsuyo. We had dinner till like 1am, then went to Fuji Soba and had midnight snack then all went back to Miho's and partied till 4am. Gosh..I was so tired I didn't even try to make sense of what they were talkin about..then I just zoned out. But it was loads of fun!!!

Thanks for such a great stay in Japan, and sure let's do the long-distance roomate thing, I will be waiting for u're extra key..ne! LOLS

Golden Week HKG - Part II. Bobopang

Part II - Bobopang

Oh gosh.. I had the best time on Saturday taking Siu Bo out to the beach..soooooo cute...she kept on swimming to just follow me around. Apparently, a lot of you hate it when I refer to bobo when I talk to you guyz on the phone. Somebody even told me that I always say "Oh... so cute.. bobopang is looking at me right now", and they think its not anything out of the ordinary, when your pet looks at you once in a while. BUT, bobo gives the cutest stare...OKAY?? Anyway.......To summarize Golden Week HKG- Bobopang , 3 chinese words... "卦到爆" !!!!!!!!!

Golden Week HKG - Part I. Family, Friends and Foes

So Wren msned me this today and logged off, goes
"Stupid bitch update your blog..." , SOOOO here I am. Well actually I wanted to update it anyways, but I've just been sick since I got back.

Part 1 - Family, Friends and Foes

Well.. during my short trip to HKG, I saw my family quite a bit, BB's bday party then went "yum cha" with my aunt. It was fun to see a bunch of relatives, my aunt gave me some "5 flower tea" to bring back to SHA to make, but then I think I might have did the whole thing wrong and self-posioned myself. Anyway...... I just have been experiencing a heavy load of family problems lately..its like a burden of which I am incapable of solving... so what now then..?

Friends, friends, friends....My definition of a true buddy:
1.Realizes that you are drunk, then yells at you and scold you for it, eventho you will have no memory of it the other day
2.Lends you a foot for your back to lean on while you are trying to kneel down and throw up on the street
3.Takes you home AGAIIIIIN, coz you got drunk last time during your farewell party too
4.Holding a bag for you to throw up during the taxi ride ...ewwww ..(feel really bad about that one)
5. So faye=medium=Kim ju woo

Again and again.. I didn't have enough time to see everyone. For those who I had a chance to meet, I've enjoyed every single moment. Ritz Carlton Buffet goes into my CLASSIC moments of life.

Foes...I didn't really get a chance to annilate my enemy..but he did verbally abuse me for like 15 mins non-stop after drinks in Inside-out. But then.... Da BITCH.. bit me on my arm.. I guess I should be grateful that she didn't rip it off.

Dreams within dreams within dreams

I woke up at 5am this morning.. with no aparent reason..drank some water..then went back to sleep again. Then I started to have those really realistic dreams that I hate...

I dreamt that I was sleeping in my room, the dream had vivid depictions of my room, it was as if I was lookin at myself on the outside. I'll spare you all the other details..anyway..in my dream which i was sleeping..i felt like i couldn't wake up..then there came a point.. which in my mind I've come to realize..wait ..this is a dream..this is not really happening..but i do REALLY want to wake up now..

of coz my wonderful mind gave me no gratification to this...i did NOT wake up..but jumped into another dream..of which i was AGAIN..sleeping in my bedroom...then i heard some noises in the apartment upstairs..and then some water started to leak from the roof....the water spashed on my bed..and i was entirely soaked from top to bottom....in my dream i honestly thought that the sprinkler came off..so i checked if anything was on fire in my apartment.. but everything was ok..

So how did I eventually wake up from all this mind-twisting madness? "Le Alarm"... yes thank goodness for it..sometimes i really wonder if I would be trapped in that dreamworld forever.. i mean time doesn't really exists in dreams..its irrelevant...

I was totally exhausted this morning..i think my mind was even more tired than that if I were awake the whole nite..

Anyway..with my inquisitive nature.. a few questions comes to my mind...

1. Why do I dream that I dream?
2. Why do I dream that I dream, and in the dream I can't wake up from my dream?
3. Why is it that when my rational thinkin kicks in, and that I realize I'm only in a dream dreaming that I can't wake up but in fact I may have the power to wake up, but then I don't really wake up and jump into another dream, of which then I woke up in the dream, in the uttermost painful way?

This is what I think..but feel free to differ

1. I think i dreamt that I dreamt is coz prolly I woke up at 5am, and the mind is subconsiously telling me I need more sleep. But then that TOTALLY back-fired coz I got more exhausted from all the subtext.

2. Again.. maybe I think its telling me to rest more..but then the dream in dream thingy freaked me out..and I really wanted to wake up..

3. Maybe coz I was in really light sleep, and I was in between conscience and subconscience, and that my mind was trying to crumble the dream world thru rational thinking, it sorta worked half-way, like it granted me to wake up in the dream but not in real life. I think its prolly like a power struggle between conscience and subconscience..and I was the innocent by-stander

With the Q&A , it leads to the ultimate question, who is in charge of my mental process????????
Well....beats the hell outta me..coz i just kno Tis' not I who is in charge...coz I'm just a powerless sucker...and now I declare that I am no longer held responsible for any decisions that I make

A Sonnet for the NC

Fellow NC members and VP Woogie, I would like to dedicate this sonnet by Bill Shakespeare to you.
Let's hang it in the foyer of our clubhouse...

Sin of self-love possesseth all mine eye,
And all my soul, and all my every part;
And for this sin there is no remedy,
It is so grounded inward in my heart.
Methinks no face so gracious is as mine,
No shape so true, no truth of such account,
And for my self mine own worth do define,
As I all other in all worths surmount.
But when my glass shows me my self indeed
beated and chopt with tanned antiquity,
Mine own self-love quite contrary I read:
Self, so self-loving were iniquity.
'Tis thee (my self) that for my self I praise,
Painting my age with beauty of thy days.

36 BIG bottles of Heineken and 3 bottles of Chang Yu wine

So...yesterday when I was about to leave the office..my boss caught me in the hallway asking me to go have dinner with the ppl from HK station. Little did I kno that there were a whole bunch of us going.. there were about 24 of us where only 4 of us from HK. With 20 local mainland chinese and no boss around... diasterous..!! Everyone was standing up and walking around to drink with the 3 HK station guys..I don't think many of them ate...altho it was a full table of food. Eventho I had my "I got a flu" excuse..but I was sitting next to them..so I was a vulnerable victim as well. The nite ended with a HK guy from my far left was pukin thru the window..and the HK guy on my rite was sleepin..he seemed alrite..until he got up to leave and puked on the table. And the final punch is.. it was only 8 something at night when we left the restaurant.. HA!!!!!!! Beat that!!!!!!!

Cassandra Complex

PPS.好了。。

"Phewwwwwwwwwwww" Finally accomplished my exam today..."Yipeeeee"

But we're not gonna talk about that today..but something else..something..dark..eerie.. and out of the ordinary..
****X-file music playin at the background****

So here goes...

This morning as I was heading out bright and early to go to my exam..I had a sense of uneasiness..not becoz that I had a grueling exam to go to..but becoz I had this immense feeling that I'm gonna lose something. So I made sure I was extra careful regardin my personal belongings such as keys, phone and wallet so forth. But the unescapable happened... I LOST MY PHONE...

How you may ask...well as I was steppin out of the cab this morning.. I felt my pockets plus I checked and looked again in the cab. Everything was in order...but later in the morning I found out..I have lost it. Normally, if this kinda thing happens..I would be P-I-S-S-E-D and I would take a fit..but today I felt quite calm and thought to myself "HRRRRRMMMMMMMMMM....WOW...I can't believe my feelings were right.. this is freaky..." then went on about studying. My schoolmate was nice enuff to try to ring me..to see if there's any reception..but in my mind I knew it was gone forever..so I didn't even bother to go look for it...

Apparently phones DO EVAPORATE THRU THIN AIR...u kno..*X-file theme playin again in the background*..dude..I don't even wanna bother to think how it happened..there's like an infinite amount of possibilities how it can occur..MAYBE..i dropped it when I was walkin from the cab to my classroom..which was btw just 30meters ..which btw could have made some noise which apparently im too deaf to notice..or MAYBE..it was zapped by ALIENS during class or just MAYBE my memory is F$%^-ing with me and in fact I left it in the cab..i simply realize I would never find out (its times like now that I wish I was on a Reality TV show..so I can kno what the hell happened)

Maybe those of you who went to AC would understand the "Cassandra Complex"..you kno.. Cassandra was the prophet of Oedipus..where she was damned when she predicted that Oedipus would slaughter his own father and screw his own mom. As I was saying ..the "Cassandra Complex" is when a prophecy is told but you have no power to escape what is predestined for you..An oxy-moron at its fullest... I mean..WHAT"S UP WITH THAT?..and u kno what??? before I once wanted to name my daughter Cassandra..and give her a little cute nick name called Cassie..GOD..this is just too ironic to be happening to me...spare me from the torment....

PS. The English and Chinese version of this entry is slightly different.. I kno... I try not translate stuff coz it'll lose the touch..and I express myself better when I do this

PPS. Soooooooooooo..... lets do a poll.. what 3G phone should I get?

The human brain is like George W. Bush

The human brain is like George W. Bush.. I'm sure in u're heads you're going.. "wha???....... HUH??" Well this similie was inspired by my japanese buddy.. miho..who's currently visiting me here..

Let me explain...

The human brain is like very very stupid... its perplexing..why is that it may have the capacity to allow you to speak a few different languages..but it lacks the control and management to select which language to use at what times. Its just frustrating and embarrassing... So Miho and I went to this massage place..and the masseuse were trying to have a conversation with Miho..so they were talkn to me in Mandarin..whereby I translate to Miho..in English plus a little bit of Japanese..back and forth .. I just couldn't manage.. i started saying "だいじょうぶ / Daijoubu" ( It means OK in English.. and 可以的 in Chinese) to the masseuse ...and saying "怎么了?" (It means are you ok? in Mandarin) to Miho.. And to escalate the whole confusion..I had dinner with my HK friends together with Miho..and one guy insisted to speak in Mandarin coz he says he needs the practise.. so we were speakin like 4 different languages at the table.. Mayhem...when tryin to express my amusment to what my HK friend said.. I turned my head and said to him "え??そっか?そっか?/ Eh???? Sokka? ..Sokka??" (Which means..oh yeah?? Really??) Then I started confusing mandarin with my Cantonese..and said to a friend.."呢条路一直走就系架啦。。。" instead of "呢条路一路行就系架啦。。。"..

The human brain is like a conniving politician.. it likes to tell you what you want to hear..and it keeps telling you "The event did not actually take place".. Selective memory is an extremely powerful tool..my friend...reminded me of Kundera's writing...

For after all, what can memory actually do, the poor thing? It is only capable of retaining a paltry little scrap of the past, and no one knows why just this scrap and not some other one, since in each of us the choice occurs mysteriously, outside our will and interest. We won't understand a thing about human life if we persist in avoiding the most obvious fact; that a reality no longer is what it was when it was; it cannot be reconstructed.

During our dinner conversation last nite..as I was ridculing Miho for not learning Chinese..she said I was the cause of it as I've never taught her Chinese..then she reminded me of an incident in which i have totally forgotten.. apparently while I was still studyin in Hawaii..it was one of those days that we were having our friday parties..and surely I had a few too many drinks.. Miho and Donielle..was asking me how to say "Yummy/Good taste" in Cantonese... and I replied them .."おいしい。。Oishii...." and Miho saids.."Hmm.. how interesting...its exactly the same in Japanese"....and I said "yup!".. After like 2 weeks.. Miho and Donielle were both saying "おいしい / Oishii" thinking that it was Chinese..until one day they said it to me and Miho goes "Isn't it Chinese?" and in oblivion .. I gave her my "Huh + what the hell" face and said "Noooo..."..And now she claims that she was emotionally scarred from this incicent to learn Chinese..Its interesting how she remembers this vividly and I completely forgot about it...

And why do emotions kicks in and impairs our rational judgement anyway... like today when I was tryin to catch a cab after skool while RAINING... I'd let this person in my same class get on it first (Normally..I would tear off a limb of anyone who comes between my Cab and I .. PLUS ..I sort of just vaguely recognized her).. but of coz.. I regreted my decision the second she got on the cab... sigh...

I guess what Im really tryin to say here is.. I don't like George Bush and the stupid things he does...

P.S. Hawaiian times... "懐かしい。。な。。/ Natsukashii na.." (I miss it .. I'm nostalgic for it)

Congrats AA

Okay... so today I just went to a cocktail party of an international airline. And of coz.. like all cocktail parties..yes ..they had an open bar.. Well I had like 6 or 7 glasses of white wine before dinner..and a glass of champagne during dinner..and i must admit i was slightly buzzed thru the whole dinner. Not that anyone noticed tho..and that reminded me how much i miss alcholol. I've known I've said I would quit chronic drinking..which I still vow to do...becauseeeeeeee...FIRST OF ALL.. I act like a fuckin idoit when im drunk (I'm sure a lotta ya would vouch for that) 2ND OF ALL ...I think it just ain't cool anymore for me to act like a fuckin idoit at my age... However I do miss the buzz and all...Anyhoo..after the dinner.. I went to have a massage and it felt extra nice..Gosh skool for tmr again... I hope I can get up...

Between Worlds

Well .. I went to class again today.. another lost Sunday!! But something interesting happened during recess today. My teacher in my freight fowarding class asked me where I was from? And I immediately said "Can't you tell I'm from HK from my cantonese style mandarin?" She obviously thought that I wasn't a local mainlander, but suprisingly, I didn't really bear a heavy HK accent, and on top of that ... I even had a teeny weeny bit of a Taiwanese accent. My colleauge and I both laughed after hearing this, coz I guess its kinda funny how unique yet indistinguisable my mandarin is...

Last nite.. I was talking to one of my Japanese buddy.. Mariko-chan... And I just had a recollection of a conversation we had in Greece. As we were talking about our families..she asked "Which is home for you? HK or Toronto?" And I immediately replied "Hmm..I dunno.. neither.. I guess I don't belong to anywhere really.." Then I smiled mischeviously and said "Mo....Watashi wa..kakoii desu ka?" (Hey..I sound pretty cool ..don't I?) And she jokingly answered “Hai hai......Kakoii ... Kakoii desu ne" (Indeed..indeed.. you're pretty cool)

I guess it was my upbringing that keeps me travelling around.. when I was a child.. I used to feel nostalgic or scarred of moving. But now I'm just indifferent.. its neither good nor bad.. i don't get excited or terrified when I have to move. It's like I observe every place at a distant now and I don't really belong. It's like I'm eternally caught between worlds. The feeling gets stronger everytime I move... hmmmmmmm......

You're Beautiful

Loves da video for so many reasons: loves the white clean stage floor, loves the ocean background, loves the snowing, loves the melody, loves the lyrics, loves James Blunt melancholy look with his hair all wet from the snow before he took his shirt off (way too skimpy), loves how he places his belongings so neatly before he jumps off the stage and commits suicide.

The video is just so simple, clean, minamalistic yet so moving.

On the side note.. I was wondering this morning if I was too hungry or if I had heartburn, so after enjoying my lunch I came to the conclusion that I had heartburn. Crap..where do u find tums in China? Anyway.. why is heartburn called "HEART"burn? It has nothing to do with your heart. Why isn't it called "Tummy"burn or "Stomach"burn? Nonetheless, I do feel kinda melancholy today.. I wonder if its coz of my burning heart. Urghhh... I haven't had this type of indigestion since I ate a 14" pizza by myself in Grade 8.. Ouuuuuuuuuucccccchhhhhh...

Return of the Sleepaolic....yawn...

。 Anyways...

Sorry u guys who don't read Chinese..err..you would have to just use u're imagination..coz I don't feel like translating it today!! hehe

Drops of Jupiter

Drops of Jupiter - Train

Now that she's back in the atmosphere

With drops of Jupiter in her hair, hey, hey

She acts like summer and walks like rain

Reminds me that there's time to change, hey, hey

Since the return from her stay on the moon

She listens like spring and she talks like June, hey, hey

Tell me did you sail across the sun

Did you make it to the Milky Way to see the lights all faded

And that heaven is overrated

Tell me, did you fall for a shooting star

One without a permanent scar

And did you miss me while you were looking for yourself out there

Now that she's back from that soul vacation

Tracing her way through the constellation, hey, hey

She checks out Mozart while she does tae-bo

Reminds me that there's room to grow, hey, hey

Now that she's back in the atmosphere

I'm afraid that she might think of me as plain ol' Jane

Told a story about a man who is too afraid to fly so he never did land

Tell me did the wind sweep you off your feet

Did you finally get the chance to dance along the light of day

And head back to the Milky WayAnd tell me, did Venus blow your mind

Was it everything you wanted to find

And did you miss me while you were looking for yourself out there

Can you imagine no love, pride, deep-fried chicken

Your best friend always sticking up for you even when I know you're wrong

Can you imagine no first dance, freeze dried romance five-hour phone conversation

The best soy latte that you ever had . . . and me

Tell me did the wind sweep you off your feet

Did you finally get the chance to dance along the light of day

And head back toward the Milky Way

I was thinkin about this song the other day but I couldn't recall the band or title, but thru some kind of karmic fate I woke up to this song this morning. I want to trace my way thru the constellation and find out for myself if heaven's overrated. Would I have drops of jupiter when I return home? But where is home?

Phone Antics

Last weekend I got a few calls from some friends, and after answering the phone, they asked me if I was sleeping or not coz my voice sounds really sleepy, when in fact I am WIDE awake working in the office. Come to think of it, a lot of ppl had said the same thing to me, and I think its probably the next mosted used conversation starter of my calls(Most being "Dim ar" or coz). This is one big revealation, why is my voice so crappy when I answer the phone? Thank god my clients never think that I'm sleepy.. so why is that my voice is so crappy when I answer my cell? I'm sure most of you experienced me not answering my calls, and some of you complain about it. I think my body just naturally rejects the notion of picking up calls, it innately prohibits my speaking capabilities. This perplexes me. So here's a poll I want u guys to take to let me better understand the situation.

Phone Answering Capability Poll:
1. Who here has once thought that I was sleeping when answering calls but has learnt that in fact I wasn't?
2. Who can tell the difference of my real sleepy voice or simply crappy voice on the phone? If yes, what's the difference?
3. Why do you think I always miss my phone calls? What can I do to prevent it?
4. Would you like me to change my crappy voice into a perky, cheerful and loving "Hello..How are you doing?"? (It sounds weird even in pen)

Anyway.. I hope all of you can take part of helping me understand myself better... oh and.. please don't don't call me..pls pls pls......and don't hate me becoz i kno you love me...

oh.. and DB..maybe you can put in u're 2 cents too..Since you gave me a thorough in-depth diagnosis of my "Narcissistic Personality Disorder" (Good to know that our taxpayers are getting their money's worth on A-grade researching skills academic scholars..."gag"..)..and I think i mark yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes and yes to all nine traits, so I guess I'm untreatable...

Styska se mi po tobe

Styska se mi po tobe - Czech for "I yearn for you" "I am nostalgic for you"

The weekend was a blast! Sofaye, Wincy and Web visited me here and stayed at my house. Knowing our epicureous nature, we went on a quest of overindulgence of food and wine. So it was arrive in SHA / wine at my house / shanghainese dinner + yellow wine /test tube shots at Peoples / cocktails and wine at Mesa Manifesto / Sleep / Wake up / Xiao Lung Bao (I almost got my head chopped off if I messed up that one) / Cawwfee + Pavlova at M / Massage / All u can eat Shabu Shabu (11 plates of beef for 4 ppl ..its a record to break..with 4 boats of sashimi beef = 1 boat per head) / Cocktails at Bon Bon / Cocktails at Bar Rouge / Beer at home / Sleep / Wake up / Fried dumplings + Souvlaki + Lamb Kabebs + Chicken Wings / Pick up Xiao lung baos to bring back to HK / Yellow Fish Noodles / Leave my home. So........ I think you guys pretty much get the idea...

It got pretty quiet at my home last nite.. i felt weird and uneasy without my commarades.. I didn't really realize how much I had missed them before they came.. and they serve as a linkage or a reminder of my buddies and life in HK.. sigh.. so there it is... Styska se mi po tobe~~~~~~~~

Join the NC !!!!

NC stands for Narcissist Club, where members are free to join to express their undying love for themselves!!
Mission: To promote love for oneself and to encourage one being conceited at all times
Vision: To change the world and make it revovle around oneself

Founders: Eva & Wooly
President: Eva
Vice President: Wooly

For those who share the same beliefs..join now! We're recruiting!

Haha..Joking aside...
So I was talking to a friend about love the other day.. and we starting talking about Romeo and Juliet.. I still remember that we had to read a play every semester or something whilst in AC. Sigh...I can't believe I'm saying this but I miss English Class??? Anyway... as I was saying.. Romeo is in love with the idea of love whereas Juliet is really in love with Romeo(the person).. why do we say that..coz Romeo is so romantic and all and at the beginning he was like madly in love with Rosaline..saying that he wants to die becoz of her..but coz he went to ONE party ..with a blink of an eye .. he's in love with Juliet... So being the founder of the Narcissist Club ..I would like to say I'm more of a Romeo.. head always filled with romantic illusions.... yet the person that I'm most in-love with is myself?? What r u ?? Romeo or Juliet?

Ok.. so back to normal....

Ok..so now my raging pulse has finally gone down after writing that hate mail...
Back to my dear loving friends...

I had a great weekend actually.. my coworkers gave me a bday cake... I went to Shabu Shabu and ate a LOTTA beef then went to Gossip for karaoke.. Gab got me another cake heheheheh... I do think I am wiser.. I said to myself if I drink more I would totally lose it so I got home.. Safe that is.. Then saturday I went to a home party and practiced my Putonghua. Sunday.. was just the normal laundry, cleaning , moping sorta day.. Anyway.. I had fun..

To my friends:

Mun- No worries.. I have the email comment thing set up so I can read your comments
Stupid Wren - Who's fault is it when the person who has the hotel business card just fails to give it to the driver??
Woggie - Thx.. my cup did overflow...

Older.. yessss..but am I wiser? Hmmmm......

It's my birthday today..oh god...so i am older.. honestly i think bdays are overated.. for me its all downhill after I reach 21. Anyway.. a lot of friends already gave me my bday wishes on msn / icq.. even I'm way in Shanghai..I feel all ya luv. Someone even said they're gonna have a bbq / hot pot today in rememberance of me in HK..i said "don't forget the cake!" and she goes "Who's gonna cut it???" Good question!!

My family actually called me last nite to wish me happy birthday.. and I keep telling them.."it's not even my birthday yet..call again tmr.."..hehe but of coz they didn't care and kept on going. It's a tradition for me to spend March 3 with my family every year, so this is something new to me.

Dear old Gabriel says he's gonna throw me a party tonite with his friends..it'll be interesting coz probably the only person that I kno in the party would be Gabriel. And it's always scarry to party with him anyways..but I will take good care of myself (hence hopefully i am wiser) .. Will let you all kno how it goes!!

Laid back weekend

So I couldn't read my own blog in China rite.. but no worries.. I read all your comments coz I asked someone to copy and paste them to me.. And Wincy da bitch.. don't be mean.. i kno you love me! Anyway.. thanks for all your care! I'm doing fine in Shanghai.. very different lifestyle but I'm enjoying to become a "home-mie" person..meaning..staying at home..cooking..watching TV..reading.. Its quite nice.

Last week I did go out for 2 nites tho..once to karaoke..and once to a nice bar called "People".. 1 bottle of red wine is just $2XX.. its damn cheap..Its a must go for my wine-lover friends! I made a new friend unexpectedly ..actually she's a friend's friend who's my friend's friend.. and you kno how the story goes..the funny thing was we met unknowingly we were connected..and when we found out we couldn't stop laughing. We drank and talk talk talk in People from 7 something to 2am , it was fun.

Anyway..miss you all!

Shanghai it is ...then...

Alas... so I have finally arrived to Shanghai.. though ppl are in disblief..coz I keep saying Im going..but I'm not going blah blah blah....I think there was even a rumor that I'm not leaving HK anymore

First this entry is for all my friends in HK, it was an abrupt leaving..so I'm sorry I didn't get to see all of you and my schedule was tight so I try to put everyone in. Anyway I love you all and will miss you all, please do come up to Shanghai to visit me and you will be taken good care of.

For those mean bitches and assholes who attended my party... I would like to congratulate you all on a job well done... as you may call it..i was very wasted / hammered / drunk. I forgot how I got home (I think my buddy took me home)...then both of my alarms went off but I didn't hear it..i didn't wake up until there was a huge pounding noise on my door... MASSIVE HEADACHE (the Jui sing apparently didn't work for me)... was burping chivas-tasted breathes during my ride to the airport.. then i found out during check in that i didn't bring the keys to the locks of my lugguage (yes..i had to break the locks afterwards) then I really wanted to puke during take-off. So once again, a pat on the back for those who came to murder me that nite!!! Haha

I'm quitting chronic drinking..i don't have too many brain cells left to kill...
Anyway..i wanna say I can't read my own blog coz i think China blocked it...but I can still post here..weird..

Are you a sadist or a masochist?

I'd say be neither!

I went for a drink with my friend today... she just experienced a nasty break-up. Not only did she have to deal with an impotent weak hypocrite but also a very very sneaky bitch!!! I'd say ... my friend is definitely better off now...coz the truth will set you free.

So.. do you like to inflict pain on others or do you like to be mistreated? Are you selfish or do you give unconditionally? Do you like to punish others or yourself?

There is no right or wrong answer to those questions because I'm sure you've experienced all of the above in different moments of time.

The real burning question is: "What do you feel like now in this particular moment of time?"

Conversations of 2 Pisces and 1 Gemini

I was quite upset last nite..but the real bobopang cheered me up.. she is the bestest and sweetest pet any person can have. I found myself unloading a lot of my stress to my Pisces and Gemini friend today, for some reason it made me feel relieved. Happiness is an intangible item, together with love also. I suppose no one can really control when to love or when to feel happy, but i guess you can always try to deal and cope when tables turn or when there is disappointment.. Anyway I'm rambling...

Breakfast at Tiffany's

The story line is very very plain and pretty much expected, its about 2 gold diggas falling for eachother and finds true love at the end. But I must say this ranks as one of my favourite movies for a lot of reasons, such as: good cinematorgraphy, great art direction and absolute divine styling (I have never seen anyone wear an oversized tuxedo shirt like audrey hepburn..not to mention the tiffany jewlery and the signature black dress with the very hepburn hair styling) and of coz what else..hello???? Audrey Hepburn... boy .. I've never seen her in a movie before but she is breathe taking... a great actress.. I've never seen a superficial money crazed dumb blonde look so lovable. And how about the song "Moon River".. sigh.. it just makes me gasps... I actually tried to look for my guitar so that I can try to play this song...Unfortunately my guitar is no where to be found..I think I've lost it...Anyway.. I have never had such a craving for a piece of Tiffany's jewellery like this before.. this movie is a brain-washer... hmmmm.. I do need a ring.. since I've lost my favorite one.........

No more nosebleeds... pls!

Today I was supposed to go to ENT specialist and dentist, but turns out I couldn't go to the dentist coz i had a tiny procedure this morning. I have been having constant nosebleeds for about 3 weeks, hence I decided to see the doctor. At first when the doc was examining me, he saw the blood vessels and we both decided just to try to put some medical cream on it and just see if it gets better. Whilst the examination was over and we were talkin, I immediately had a nosebleed, so he asked me to go to the other room and it was decided I should best have the procedure immediately. Actually during the examination, he sprayed my nose with a light sedative with a label which wrote "10% coccaine" on it. Hmmmm..so that's how coke feels like... Anyway, before the procedure he gave me another sedative so that I won't feel the burning electrifying pain. The nurse asked me to wait in the room to let the sedative kick in and she was kindly enuff to bring me some newspapers to read. But after like 5 mins, I was already face down on the desk sleeping. Then I had the procedure where the doc would stick some electrifying burning thing up my nose to cluster the blood vessels. He assured me that I should not have any problems for at least a couple years.. how comforting...sigh..

Anyway.. just no more nosebleeds... pls!

Unbearable Being of Lightness

Just talkin to one of my friends on relationships randomly today, its weird how when we love someone and things aren't really going the way they're supposed to, ppl would like to crash and burn, like make the situation more worse then it is and pretty much self destruct. And oddly enough I was just reading my fave book (I haven't finished it but its my fave book already) and it goes

~ It was vertigo. A heady insuperable longing to fall. We might also call vertigo the intoxication of the weak. Aware of his weakness, a man decides to give in rather than stand up to it. He is drunk with weakness, wishes to grow even weaker, wishes to fall down in the middle of the main square in front of everybody, wishes to be down, lower than down.

I guess by being weak and vulnerable and just self inflicting pain is actually a token of love sadly enough. Hey my friend, feel better! If you're feeling this shitty, it just means that you are in the wonderful realm of love.

New Year's In Shanghai

Shanghai Trip wid Poon was awesome eventho he claims that I was the worst tourguide ever. WHATEVER.... 1st day we went to eat Siu Long Bao..which was delicious..went to Yu Yuan where I bargained 2 "love" T-shirts for him (Yes it screams GAY) then we went to Ji Xi to have dinner with Gab, mmmmmm ... i love the fish head... so yummy.. then we went to Mint which was a pretty nice laid back club. 2nd day we had San Geen Bao.. then went shopping at Nan Jing Road and we went to the Bund which was pretty cool..later that nite we went to Bar Rouge for count down.. where I lost some memory ... hmmmm... Apparently we were ditched by a taxi driver to an unknown district.. and I was struggling to tell the other taxi driver where our hotel was... I just kept saying SHUDDUP to Poon (I kno I kno.. worst tourguide ever) Anyway we did get home safely..No more hardcore drinking for me! 3rd day we woke up really late and we met up Sai Mun, Him , Jason and Alice.. went to the Pearl Tower..then went shopping at Huai Hai Road..then Poon and I went to have a manicure..(He he... he has shiny nails now) after that we met them up again for dinner at Xin Tian De..then we pampered ourselves with a full package massage.. so nice!!! And for today we went to People's Square and the nicer part of Nan jing road for more shopping and we went to Xiang Yang Market to do some haggling, and whilst we were trying to buy a wallet for Chu:

Poon: What? $230? You're joking..I'll pay you 10
Local Chinese Shop Owner: Naw naw... u jokin!!! (with heavy chinese accent)

Then we haggled for 5 mins and yes we did the whole pretending to leave act..then the local chinese shop owner used his last resort and said "ohhhhh u so handsome..i give u better price..." and we end up paying him like $25 for the wallet

Haha it was so hilarious..then we went to go to the washroom in Marriot Hotel then we ate our early dinner at Xiao Shao Xing, where Poon had his hairy crab for the 1st time. Then we hit Xian Tian De one last time and went for a drink at Fabrique (which was totally empty btw) And we went to a nice cafe where we met Gab, Steven and Gaby. Poon ate spegatti for his 2nd dinner and he's still hungry now... PIG.. then we went to Park 97.For tmr, we're planning to have Siu Long Bao one last time..then head back home.

This was a fun trip!! I actually went to a lot of touristy places where I wouldn't have gone if I were to live here by myself..and last but not least I would just like to say one thing to Poon in conclusion "SHUDDUP!"

Slapping Happy Christmas Eve

With a heavy drinking Xmas eve hosted by a party animal, things were bound to get out of hand. And IT DID. Oh God, I really need to get that MEAN drunk outta me. After a crazy nite, all of us were tired.. and I hosted a Xmas BBQ today. It was a nice and quiet evening with a bit of light drinking. Its been a while since the AC crew reunits and festive seasons usually brings ppl together. The thing that I love the most about Christmas is that relationships are closer eventho for a brief moment, and thats enough for me.

Should possiblities be worse to bear than certainties?

Why is that we can better bear to part in spirit than in body, and while we have the fortitude to act farewell have not the nerve to say it? On the eve of long voyages or an absence of many years, friends who are tenderly attached will separate with the usual look, the usual pressure of the hand, planning one final interview for the morrow, while each well knows that it is but a poor feint to save the pain of uttering that one word, and that the meeting will never be. Should possiblities be worse to bear than certainties? - Dickens

When am I going to Shanghai for good? I have no idea, but I just know that I'll be going there on Dec 1st for about a week, hopefully I will be able to find a good apartment. The whole situation is a bit unsettling as I've been put on hold for about 3 months now, my life is stagnant. Half of my friends think that I have already left and the other half probably won't really miss me. *Sniff Sniff* Where's my farewell party?? Hehe so ok i'm exaggerating, but I really feel like I need to move on.

And so it is..back to HK

OK... so I've been back to HK for a week now... I didn't really do anything but see my friends..hang out..have dinner..and so forth.
But I did have a very interesting weekend tho ! I had a BBQ party with the whole AC crew invited.. and a couple more guests. The nite started off where Sylvia and I both drove from Jordan to my house.. where we picked up our friends.. it was going all fine..until I reached the outskirts of Sai Kung where I accidentally hit a curb and CAN YOU BELIEVE IT? ..... busted my front tire... So we drove to a gas station hoping that some guy who works there could change the tire for me. But no luck as APPARENTLY SHELL DOESN'T change tires... And as there were at least 6 drivers (spoiled brats including me)..im pretty sure.. NO ONE had a freakin clue how to change a tire..but our saviour YU KIT (HE'S DA MAN!!!!!!!!!) So he performed the meticulous task..where all the girls were doing the "ouuuuuus" and "ahhhhhhhhs" and gushing thru the whole process. After that we went to my home and had our BBQ... for some reason... I always feel safe at home and subconciously I tend to let myself go, and as we were having our various types of alchohol (Red, White, Ice Wine, Kahlua, Whiskey, Beer etc). I guess I drank it too fast... I do have a fainted recollection of playin some games with Ah him..but thats about it.. the whole nite was blank and I woke up with an empty stomach and a bruised left arm.. INTERSTING... Apparently I even bitch slapped some ppl too..that I don't remember... Anyway... that's the consequence for having a party at my house.. hehehhehehe
So the next day I went to do my hair.. I was so out of it.. and I even wore my glasses which I think I shouldn't have. It totally gives a bad perspective for my stylist to work out something for me..Anyway, she did a good job I think but it came with a pricy tab..I think I now officially declare bankrupcy... errrrrrrrrrrr

Walking through the Appleby Gates.... or just Gate??!!!

As you may know, Appleby has gone through a lot of changes these past couple years, from the front field turning to a parking lot, doing the whole E-Learning thing and of coz the 2 GATES merging into one. Sigh... it was definitely an emotional ordeal for both Cindy and I when we visited. First, we sat through the double lunch periods, they have a fancy salad bar now.. and I almost forgot to put my tray back..hehehe. Then we walked around the science wing... then up to the "A" classrooms, had a chat with Dr. Sampson and Father Bob. And of coz I was wearing my Chapel Warden tie which gave us instant access to the Chapel. I do remember the wonderful Christmas Chapel Services.... I wish I could spend Christmas in Toronto. Then our last stop was Bailley house..sighhhhhh...... I had an inclination to just pop into our old room..(But of coz somebody is living in it).. then we saw the girls who were staying there.. I felt so warmed and jealous at the same time. Then we visitied Erin Cater's home in Bailley house (she is now the don and a visual arts instructor) I saw here guitar case..which pretty much freaked me out coz it looked the same as 8 years ago... i dunno.. maybe im just feeling nostaligic for the moment being... but damn..im serious about this 10 year summer reunion thingy.. class of 98' ... watch out!! and be prepared...!!!

Baillie House.. Shit I think my heart just stopped for a minute there..

Back of Baillie.. Did I say I wanted to run into my old room already?.. I still remember the day I first lay my eyes on this place...

Back to Toronto

*Disclaimer* - As you may have already kno, the previous post was a guest entry from my dear friends from Appleby(Poon & Chu) while we were in Montreal. Please note that I will not take any responsibility for their comments nor would I vouch on whether the events actually took place. But I do have one thing to say is that WE ROCKED MONTREAL..and its always good to know how much we matured....oh wait a second... I don't think we did.. Eva does Montreal

Get this? Eva had never seen fat women dance at a strip club before, so lo and behold, a trip to Montreal was in order with yours truly, Chueeey, and the trip leader himself, Warren FH Poon. Little did Warren know, that he was but a pitiful figurehead in the grand scheme of things. He reluctantly assumed the position, upon which drunk dai lo (chuey) grabbed him from behind, and started drilling him like two bears fucking in the forest. Now, it is common knowledge that Eva used to wrestle bears. So as you can see the story goes well beyond the realm of parental control. Ok, the truth of the trip can really be summed up in a single word: sodomy! And poutine. The 5 hr voyage was rather uneventful, save Eva mooning a schoolbus full of little kids, so we'll begin the recap at Alto's, a place of pure bliss and the best $6 you can spend outside of a cheap dirty hooker.
That, however, is another story altogether. All I can say is, those bedsheet stains will be impossible to remove.
So, for those of you who have never set foot in the city of Montreal before, let me say this: if you love tits, and you love ass, and you love french pussy, well, really there is no better place to be. So yes, after Alto's, we began our romp of the city, hopping from bar to bar, waitress to waitress. And now we are here: in our hotel room, pre-drinking with a healthy combination of vodka, cold poutine, and Red Bull. Don't forget Kronenbourg - French beer originally brewed in 1664, which is pretty much the average number of drinks Eva downs in an hour. I haven't seen her in prolly 6 to 8 years but she's still a menace to society and an addict to the Smirnoff. Her one weakness in life, however, will always be her "hoong meen" that is in full effect tonight. Later on, we will visit a club and realize the full potential of our old pedophile perversions. Poon just took a shit, but as he states, it was not as big as the one he took in Super Sex last night. Yes, read that sentence again, Poon took a shit in Super Sex - most likely the lowest point in his life except for the time he fucked that midget in the cowboy hat. Well, at least he never made out with his own sister, as Chuey did. And yes, Chuey has a very hot, very asian, sister. On that note, we shall end this post, as Eva seems to be waking up and will not appreciate us blogging on her site. Happy Halloween, and Je me souviens!

Turkey Istanbul

So it is my last journal entry of my trip..............Tukey Istanbul

Yes.. so we arrived at Sulvanmet in 6am but we had no sign of Tim...he was supposed to meet us in the Bus Stop... (I'm sorry Tim.. we didn't mean to trick u to come with us to Istanbul!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

We went to search for Hostels and so we ended up with Mavi Guesthouse.. It was a pretty nice deal.. with breakfast included... I showered...and tried to get ready.. but for some reason .. my eyes were like burning...and it felt like hell.. so I went for breakfast and hoped it felt better.. but it didn't .. so I went back to the hostel and took a power nap for like 2 hrs.. and I got like a fever in between during my sleep..then we were off to the Blue Mosque.. it was quite an experience .. very peaceful and it was Ramadan also. After that we went to the "Grand Bazaar" . I thought I did quite well on bargaining..after that we went to a very n ice Turkish Bath place.. it was amazing..and tit actually cured my cold!!!!! Lastly we went to the Ramadan festival near the Blue Mosque and we ate a lot!

2nd day at Istanbul, we woke up and went to Hagia Sphia, it was a special place with lots of art pieces.. i think it was my favourite place in Istanbul. Then we walked to Egypt Plaza..and we walked on the bridge to the New European side of Istanbul during sunset. It was a coincidence that we walked into an art gallery on our way back to home, we walked in... bought a few post cards for a very resonable price ..and ended up having dinner with the artist painter and enjoyed their Ramadan meal with them. Again, we went to Turkish bath for one last time coz it was so so enjoyable, then we went to have Turkish Pipe with the ppl we met in the art gallery .. and lastly we went to an exlusive club called "dali"... danced danced and dance.. what a way to finish our trip....... ne.. mariko chan.. ehhhhhhhh.. samishi yooo...

To conclude.. this trip was a great experience for me.. mostly becoz of the ppl I met during it.. Eventho I didn't get the emails of most of them. We were at the same place in the same time..and our paths crossed.. we inspired one another with our own stories..and that was truly the most amazing part of it.

Turkey Cappadocia

An absoultely excrutiating 10 hrs bus ride to Cappadocia, arrived at 6am in the morning and freezing cold. I'm sick already and that totally didn't help. We then checked in a cave hotel called Shoe String, it was a tiny place but it was absolutely beautiful. When we arrived in Cappadocia it was a wonderful sight when we saw the hot air balloons as a lot of ppl do those tours in the morning. Amazing .. but too high budget for us tho. Then I powered napped for 2 hours, took a hot shower then went hiking around the area. Mariko, Donja(a sweet German girl we met on our bus ride) and I went to Goreme Open Air Museum which were oddly shaped caves and churches, then we walked through Red Valley and Rose Valley which had very cute mountains which looked like ice-cream. I was sooooooo hungry as I didn't eat breakfast nor lunch but we just decided to continue to walk to Cauvsin where we walked up to the mountain of an old church. At first we decided to take the dolmus (which is the local bus system) home but we figured we could have just walked and that was another 3km... Gosh..... I was walking from 11am- 7pm non-stop!!!!!!! But it was worth it!!!

Next day in Cappadoccia, we joined a local tour which starts at 9:30am, first we went to see the Panoramic View of Goreme which was breathtaking, then we went to a Underground city where people would hide and stay during wars in old days. Then we had a short hike in Ihlara Valley and it was beautiful... I loved it!!! Then lunch at the end of the valley. We then went to Selime to see the star-wars "look alike" site and Avanos for some shopping where I bought something special for Saimun, but I seriously think I got a TOURIST price for that. Lastly, we went to see the fairy chimneys which is so cute!! But they look like my most hated enemy..... mushrooms...

Last day in Cappadocia, Mariko , Tim (an aussie we met during the tour) and I went for a hike in Pigeon Valley which was amazing and the hike actually took us to Uchisar where we had an amazingly cheap buffet lunch, I think it was the first time that Mariko and I ate so so much!!! Then after lunch we visited the castle in Uchisar, and Tim went back to Goreme coz he decided to go with us to Istanbul, so Mariko and I continued to walk the Honey Valley and White Valley. The hike may not have as much lovely landscapes to see but it was great. I have never felt so free coz I couldn't see any other living person from miles and miles away, for a moment it felt like I owned the whole Cappadocia..the best feeling anyone can have I spose....

and so to to final destination ..Istanbul....

Turkey Pamukale

I know this is not real time but I have to do the places that I visit in separate entries for easier reading.

And so we were off to Pamukale, it took a 3 hr bus ride and I was in the most unconfortable seat but still I slept most of the way. At first it was raining, but then the sun came out, Mariko and I decided to visit Pamukale today eventho we would be in the town the whole day tmr coz we were afraid that it will rain. So we walked up the white calcium mineral roads and it was very very very painful and it was even more more more painful on the way down. But it was ok, coz it was beautiful. We soaked our feets in the warm thermal water while watching the sunset. I must say it was a bit of a disappointment as from the postcards that I have seen, the site is not as beautiful as before most probably because of the massive tourists.

The next day in Pamukale we just chilled in a cafe with a panoramic view of it and slept in it for the whole afternoon. How relaxing!!

Turkey Kusadasi Ephesus

The ferry from Santorini to Kusadasi was excrutiating.. 3.5 hours to Paros.. overnite 9 hours to Samos.. then 1 and half hours to Turkey Kusadasi. Funny side note = on the boat I chatted up with a funny policeman from HK..and we were sharing the photos.. but I forgot to catch his name..so if he reads this blog..just a big "hello" to him.

At first we were supposed to meet this guy for Artemis Inn but he came late so then we went to this other inn which I was glad! We had our first taste of Apple tea... and it was delicious!!! We walked around town for a bit and cooked some wonderful pasta for our dinner. And in the common lounge I meet a lot of ppl from all around the world, it was wonderful and I feel like a true backpacker now.

Later then, Mariko and I had a game of pool .. which we pretty much sucked at..and it took over an hour to finish the game..but while we were playing, we met a wonderful couple , most definitely the cutest I've ever met. And they invited us to go dancing with them and the inn manager "Apo" which was great fun!!! I justed loved hanging around the couple coz they just had an aura of happiness and love and just lookin at them makes me feel happy too!!

And so it goes... we partied too hard that nite and we woke up late..and went to Ephesus during the afternoon, the light was good for taking pictures.. but it was still amazing to walk the ruins. Mariko had her wonderful performance of singing in an ancient theatre...and she did well .. hehe
